Who needs this visa?

This visa is for international students who have:

  • formerly studied in any of the institutes in designated regional areas of Australia, and
  • were granted 485 Post Study work stream visa as a result of that study, and
  • have lived (worked/studied) in a designated regional area from last 2 years.

When can application be made for this visa?

Application for this visa can be made commencing on 20 January 2021.

What does this visa allow you to do?

This is a temporary visa that allows holders to live, study or work in Australia.

How long will this visa be granted for?

It will be either 1 year or 2 years depending upon which designated area you formerly studied and where you lived from last 2 years.
