TSS 482 Business Sponsor Compliance and Response to Monitoring

On this page

Note: The Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) 482 visa was replaced by the Skills in Demand (SID) visa on 7 December 2024. This page is kept for reference only. For current requirements, see the Skills in Demand visa.

We can advise employers on their ongoing sponsorship undertakings as a subclass 457 approved business sponsor.

The Department (DIBP) does monitor business sponsors, which can include requesting documents from employers and/or inspections of the work place.

The failure to meet subclass 457 sponsorship obligations or to comply with DIBP requests can result in the sponsor (employer) being sanctioned, which can include a sponsorship bar and fines.

We assist employers in responding to Department 457 compliance requests.
