Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa (subclass 888) – Investor Stream

The requirements to be met for the Investor stream visa holders are as follows:

  • resided in Australia for at least two years in the fours year immediately before you apply
  • held the designated investment of A$1.5 million for at least four years

The investor stream is straightforward and relatively simpler, however the Australia residency requirement is the highest among all business and investment visas. Additionally you need to meet your nominating state requirements to be eligible for the permanent visa stage.
